Alberto Conca

Partner of LFG Holding and Chief Investment Officer of LFG+ZEST.

Alberto, with over 20 years of expertise in fund and portfolio management, joined Zest as the Chief Investment Officer in 2018. Prior to this, he co-founded AQA Capital in 2015. His career milestones include co-managing long-short equity funds at Sequoia and Lemanik, partnering at Kairos Alternative Investments, and roles in Pioneer Alternative Investment in Ireland and Aletti Gestille. Alberto's foundation in the field began with roles as an Equity Manager and Fund Manager at RAS. After earning his degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Pavia, he ventured to Connecticut, focusing on the development of non-linear models for predicting volatility.
Alberto is Portfolio Manager for the Zest SICAV sub-funds: Zest Global Bonds, Zest Quantamental and Zest Global Special Situations.

Pasquale Corvino

Fund Manager of the Zest North America Pairs Relative Fund.

Pasquale joined Zest in 2015, previously serving as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Cramer Asset Management from 2012. Prior to that role, he worked as a Proprietary Trader at Banca Monte dei Paschi in Milan from 2010 to 2012. From 2006 to 2010, Pasquale held the position of Fund Manager at Aletti-Gestielle Sgr, overseeing multiple products. His career began in 2002 as a Fund Manager at Bcc Risparmio & Previdenza Sgr after graduating with honors in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and completing an Exchange program at  University  College  Dublin.


   

Gianrito Nicodemo

Fund Manager of the Zest Mediterraneus Absolute Value Fund.

Gianrito joined Zest in 2015, as Fund Manager. He moved in Lugano in 2009, and, prior to Zest, he was CIO for DFL and Portfolio Advisor for Moneyrex SA. Since 2006 Gianrito has been working as Portfolio Manager of the Absolute Large Cap Fund, at Absolute Capital Management, hedge fund with offices in London, Mallorca and Cayman Islands: the company was awarded as Best Hedge Fund Group of the year at the European Awards of the specialized magazine Hedge Fund Review. In 2003 he launched the brokerage desk dedicated to institutional investors for Banca Intermobiliare Investimenti e Gestioni, where he worked until March 2006, bringing it to the third position in the ranking related to third-parties brokerage in Italy. Previously, in 2002 he was head of portfolio management at Diners Club SIM where he founded one of the first Ethic Investment Strategy in Italy, Dimensione Uomo. His financial career began in 1999, at Previtali Exchange Agent as a trader on the Italian market, following his studies in Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in Milan.
   

Tommaso Procopio

Fund Manager of the Zest Global Equity Fund.

Tommaso, with a rich legacy of over 25 years in the financial markets, joined Zest in 2018 as a Fund Manager. His extensive journey includes pivotal roles at Jupiter Management Group, Trust & Gain Asset Management SA, and DeepView Group from 2002 to 2018. Before this, he was part of the Investment Banking Division at Mediobanca. Tommaso's academic foundation is rooted in the Catholic University of Milan, where he graduated with honors.
   

Matteo Meroni

Fund Manager of the Zest Dynamic Opportunities Fund and the Zest Flexible Bond Fund.

Matteo joined Zest in 2018 as Fund Manager, after having gained over than 25 years of experience in the financial markets, with a particular focus in the corporate and government bonds' fields. From 2010 to 2018, Matteo was the Head of the Financial Institutional Sales team in MPS Capital Services, entertaining relations with European institutional customers for cash and derivatives-related activities. From 2004 to 2010, he worked at BBVA as Senior Fixed Income and Derivatives Sales, developing the business also through "tailor-made" solutions for Italian institutional customers. Previously, he had a long experience in Banca IMI, from 1992 to 2004 as Fixed Income Sales and Relationship Manager, where he started his career following the Degree in Economics and Commerce at the University.
  

Marco Simion

Fund Manager of the Zest Global Opportunities Fund.

Marco joined Zest in May 2019, as Fund Manager of the Global Opportunities sub-fund, merged into the Zest ASSET MANAGEMENT SICAV. He previously worked at Zenit SGR where he was a member of the Company’s Investment Committee and in 2001 he created and managed the Multistrategy Private Banking line, which later evolved into the Global Opportunities sub-fund. The sub-fund, which Marco managed from its inception, was launched by Zenit MultiStrategy Sicav, whose board he chaired for 14 years. Previously, in 1996, he was Portfolio Manager at PFM SIM SpA after having held the same position at Fiduciaria Duomo since 1993. He has worked in the asset management sector since 1986 as Remisier of Leonzio, Belloni, Combi, Piva, Romersa Associate Stockbrokers Firm. Marco collaborated with Clarion Finanz AG in Zurich in the evaluation and financing of projects in the Energy, Biotech, and Natural Resources sectors. He was (until 2004) Director and Supervisor of the Finance Department of M + RZP today Marazzi & Associati. He has a degree in business economics from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
  

Martino Bon

FUND MANAGER OF THE ZEST ARGO FUND

Martino is the Fund Manager of the Zest Argo sub-fund, launched in 2019 under the Zest Asset Management SICAV. 

Martino has over two decades of experience in the financial sector, with a track record of driving performance and strategic investment initiatives. From 2012 to 2019, he led the "Prudent" management line at Edmond de Rothschild France in Milan, achieving a notable 14% outperformance against the aggregated benchmark. His tenure at Julius Baer’s SIM from 2009 to 2011 as the Chief Investment Officer saw him successfully unify investment lines after the Alpha SIM acquisition. Before this, he served on the Board of Directors at Alpha SIM and Zenit SGR, where he was entrusted with management responsibilities. Martino's earlier roles included consultancy at Banca Intermobiliare and direct client management at PrismaFin SA. 

Fluent in Italian, English, and French, with a foundational understanding of Spanish, Martino is a Jurisprudence graduate from the Università Statale degli Studi di Milano as of March 1992.

     

Antonio Midolo

Fund Manager of the Zest US SPAC Fund.

Antonio Midolo is Fund Manager at LFG+ZEST, having joined Zest in 2020 as Portfolio Manager of the US SPAC Fund, a sub-fund under the Lenya RAIF SICAV. He has over 20 years of experience in managing funds portfolios. After graduating in Economics at the University of Torino, Antonio started his career as an equity financial analyst at Sanpaolo Intesa Asset Management in 1986 and as a Portfolio Manager in 1991, becoming the Head of US Equity Market Funds supervising several investment funds (the most important being SP Asset Management US Equity Fund, with 2Bn of AuM). After a brief experience in Antonveneta Bank, he supervised the joint venture with ABN Amro. He then joined Symphonia Sgr in 1999, where he was named Head of International Equity markets, managing several investment funds, among whichSymphonia Fortissimo and the Banca Intermobiliare Flessibile, other then private clients’ portfolios. In 2007, he moved on to Investimenti & Sviluppo until 2010. After some years dedicated to complementary experiences in Real Estate and Banking, in 2017 he returns to the Asset Management Industry with AQA Capital, co-managing an Long Equity Fund, before joining Zest.
   

Daniele Lombardo

Co-Fund Manager of the Zest Amelanchier Fund.

Daniele joined Zest in April 2020, as co-Fund Manager of the Zest Amelanchier Fund, together with Alberto Allevi.
Daniele has over 26 years of experience in the financial markets dealing with asset management and investment advice. In 2008 he joined an Asset Manager company based in Lugano, which offers portfolio management services to local and international private clients, with the role of Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor and for which he still works. Previously, from May 1997 to the end of 2007, Daniele had a long working experience at ABN AMRO Switzerland, Lugano branch, where he took on increasing roles that led him over time to assume responsibility first for Asset Management, then for Advisory Desk and finally of the whole market area which also included the Forex Desk and the Team of the Independent Asset Managers. After obtaining a degree in financial management at the University of Fribourg, Daniele began his career in 1994 at the Lugano branch of UBS where he was able to attend the training program of the Swiss bank while dealing with quantitative studies to support the Asset Management activities.

Luciano Trombini

Trading Desk.

Luciano joined Zest in 2019, where he has swiftly become an integral part of the trading desk dedicated to UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds. Under the expert mentorship of Laura Visconti, head of the trading desk at LFG+ZEST, Luciano ensures meticulous and timely trade executions while supervising broker activities. Freshly graduated from the University of Insubria in Como, Luciano transitioned into his role with a keen passion for the financial sector.
