Morys Cavadini

CHAIRMAN

Morys Cavadini is the head of the Banking & Financial Markets Department at BMA Brunoni Mottis & Associati Studio Legale SA, where he is a partner.  Since 2014, Morys has been a teacher for the CAS in Compliance in Financial Service organized by the Centro di Studi Villa Negroni/CSVN together with the “Centre de Droit Bancaire et Financier” of the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva, and he has been a valued member of the Advisory Board of Legal & Compliance since 2009 at the CSVN. Morys has also held notable positions in the Swiss Association of Asset Managers (SAAM), including CEO from 2005 to 2009 and Director of the Lugano office from 2002 to 2005 as well as Member of the Self-regulatory Board (SRO) from 2003 to 2020. His academic background includes an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Zurich (“Magna cum Laude”) and a Law degree (Master of Law) from the University of Basle. He was admitted to the Cantone Ticino Lawyers Bar in 2002 and he is fluent in Italian, English, French, and German.

 

Michele Menaballi

DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

Michele Menaballi serves as the Vice President del Consiglio di Amministrazione and CEO of Laris Fiduciaria, bringing a wealth of experience in finance and fiduciary consulting. His educational background includes a diploma in qualified trade (1988-1991), a specialization in finance and accounting with a federal certificate (1993-1997), and a certification as a tax expert (1998-2002). In 2022, he achieved the title of Certified Board Member (CBM) under ISO 17024. Menaballi's professional journey is marked by his admission as a commercial and real estate trustee in Canton Ticino in 1998. He has been a member of the Federal Association of certified accountants and Controllers since 1997 and joined EXPERTsuisse, the Swiss association of Auditing, tax, and Fiduciary Experts, in 2002. Further demonstrating his commitment to the field, he has been a committee member of EXPERTsuisse's Swiss-Italian section since 2007.

Enrico Guagni

Partner of LFG Holding and Chief Executive Officer of LFG+ZEST.

Enrico became CEO of Zest in 2013, after having worked in Financial Strategy since 2001. Initially, he worked at Financial Strategy SAM, Monaco as Portfolio Manager and then at Financial Strategy SA, Lugano as Relationship Manager. In 1999 he spent a year as assistant to the managing director of Immobiliare Italia Gestioni (San Paolo-IMI group), after starting his professional career in Mediosim (Banca di Roma group), as a financial intermediary. Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has been for 15 years a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers - ASG, holder of a financial trustee license (Canton Ticino - Switzerland). 

Piero Colonna

Board Member

Piero joined Zest in January 2019 as a member of the Board of Directors. Before Zest, Piero spent the years from 2011 to 2018 as Vice President of Colombo Wealth Management SA. It consolidated the experience gained with the main counterparties of the financial sector (i.e. supervisory bodies, fund administrators, managers) after settling in Switzerland in the '90s, assuming the role of Managing Director of Banca Arner and member of the BoD of Banca di Roma. His career began in the 70s in the maritime and insurance sector, holding important roles within several brokerage firms, both in the United Kingdom and in Italy.

 

Gianluca Generali

Board Member

Gianluca Generali has been practicing the legal profession since 2000 and he has been a partner in a historic law firm in Lugano since 2005, operating in the field of contractual, commercial, and financial consulting. He is a member of the board of several companies. He worked at the Lugano Magistrate's Court until 1998, moving to the Legal and Compliance unit of a leading Swiss bank institution. He graduated in Law at the University of Zurich in 1994 and, after a training period abroad, he was admitted to the Cantone Ticino Lawyers Bar in 1996. Gianluca is fluent in Italian and English.
